The grilled lamb chop and chicken shwarma were amazing. The Lebanese wine was good. Service was excellent.

Excellent food and service! Cozy warm environment on a cold London day. Will always come back when we're in London.

Gorgeous dining experience. Superb wait staff go out of their way to make sure your dining is the utmost enjoyable. Everything we ordered was delicious. The humus tabouli and grilled chicken and lamb with mushrooms as well as the mixed grill shawarma. I highly encourage anyone to eat here. Very clean restaurant and bathrooms also.

So much better than the reviews Way way way better Service is always spot on and efficient Great menu (maybe too big) Flavors are stunning Value is solid Well worth the visit Ambiance is lovely - maybe needs a small haircut and a shave Love this stop when In London

Al-Hamra is a lot better than it used to be. Service is friendlier and the food is really so much better now. Not sure what changed but in any case this is now one of my favorite Lebanese places in London. I highly recommend the Fattoush (it's no longer acidic!), the Batata Harra, the hummus, Moujaddara, and my husband likes the Shish Taouk (sorry for anything incorrectly spelled). I would avoid the grape leaves which are not great. Prices are still really high but at least now it's worth it! We'll return for sure.

Excellent food service and atmosphere . Grilled lamb cutlet was phenomenal. Look forward to returning.

I was at the hotel and decided to explore so I came by this restaurant and was amazingly shocked at the quality of this place. The food was amazing , the staff were fantastic , the hygiene was top notch and usually I am very fussy but I had an amazing time and tried a whole selection of different Lebanese foods because the menu is outstanding. Thank you and I would definitely recommend you go to this restaurant with your family and friends.

Delicious Lebanese food! Fantastic service and fun ambiance. Loved the lamb and chicken. Pitas came out hot and round to dip in the fantastic and fresh hummus!

I've now been to Al Hamra three times and thus it's about time to write a review about it and my clear-cut verdict is simple: superb! On my first two visits I was in the company of a befriended couple, who really loves dining here. And since they have always just ordered for us, I didn't have to make any decisions about the rather extensive menu-options...This last time though, I was not in the fortuitous situation of my usual generous hosts and so I was a little at loss when it came to place an order. Luckily I recognised the waiter who'd served us during my last visit and double-luckily he even recognised me: Waiter: "Yes, I remember you. Aren't you the guy who left his mobile on the table...?" Uli: "Erm...yes..." (blushing) Anyway, he knew right away what would make us happy and so I entrusted him with ordering for us. And in order to ease spending-decision of you future Yelp-visitors, I have compiled a list of things that I have deemed as simply amazing: Hommos, Moutabal Aubergine, Muhamara, Tabouleh, Grilled Halloumi, Kibbeh Maklieh, Sawda Dajaj, Kibbeh Nayeh & Falafel. I understand that this is a rather standard selection of standards, but I find that ordering just the appetizers is plenty and it will not drain your wallet as much. In fact, after we had finished this selection of small, but delectable dishes, we found ourselves too full to really enjoy the additional items of "Mixed Grill". (On top of that, the three orders of "Mixed Grill" alone totalled up to about £50 pounds and I simply could not justify that expense.) So, if you want to enjoy good food in a luxurious, but not stuffy nor over-the-top fancy atmosphere, you should come here!
